Comments: Tonight I ran with Roy, Kathryn, Mercy and Bekah. They run a little slower than I usually do, but it was fun running with them, and it ended up being a good thing, because after 8 miles when they stopped, I felt good enough to keep running, so I went around one more time to make it 12. I thought it would be a shame to be so close and not go for it. my feet hurt perpetually, but I blocked out the pain and finished it. It was really good to run that long. I haven't run 12 miles since January at the Blues Marathon in Jackson. I am whooped though. I hope I can get out of bed in the morning.
